The permanent collection of works by Giuseppe Cesetti, arranged by the artist himself in the halls of Montebello Castle, predominantly features landscapes and characters of Maremma, described with a neo-primitive vision that recalls Tuscan painting of the 14th/15th century and at the same time naïve painting (Rousseau), where bright tones and the absence of chiaroscuro create a fairy-tale atmosphere and space.
