The Alessano Museum houses more than 350 works depicting the Virgin Mary and related themes.
Many internationally renowned artists are represented in the collection: from Salvatore Fiume to Ernesto Treccani, from Luigi Guerricchio to Alessandro Nastasio.
In the sculptural forms and on the painted surfaces, the gaze of the Virgin is infinitely amplified: the observation angle is dual.
The works, in fact, simultaneously possess the readability of the sacred and the trend towards experimentation in contemporary art.
