At the Tomb of Rotari, Baptistery of the Church of San Pietro, access is from the left side of the church’s apse. The portal is finely crafted, adorned with a bas-relief depicting scenes from the Holy Scriptures. The Baptistery, characterized by a majestic tower ending with an octagonal drum supporting a hemispherical dome, connects through a door to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
