It consists of two rooms: one for Prehistory and another for the Historical Age, both equipped with a series of display cases with captions and explanatory panels on the walls featuring graphic and photographic documentation. The exhibited materials reflect the intense cultural exchanges that the locality of Colle dei Greci had during the 7th and 6th centuries BC with both the Greeks of the Ionian coast and the Etruscans of the Campanian-Tyrrhenian area.
Inside, it is possible to appreciate all the artifacts found during the excavation campaigns at Colle dei Greci and the Calda Caves. Within the latter site, besides limestone formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, numerous artifacts ranging from 8000 to 1300 BC have been uncovered, including lithic and bone industries, ceramics from the Copper and Neolithic Ages up to the Bronze Age.
