It consists of two rooms: one of Prehistory and another of the Historic Age, both equipped with a series of showcases with captions and explanatory panels on the walls with graphic and photographic documentation. The materials on display reflect the intense cultural exchanges that the locality of Colle dei Greci had throughout the 7th and 6th centuries B.C. both with the Greeks of the Ionian coast and with the Etruscans of the Campanian-Tyrrhenian area.
It is possible to appreciate inside all the artifacts found in the excavation campaigns at Colle dei Greci and in the Calda Caves. Inside the latter site, in addition to limestone formations such as stalactites and stalagmites, several artifacts dating from 8000 to 1300 B.C. have been uncovered, including lithic and bone industries, pottery from the Copper Age and Neolithic up to the Bronze Age.
