The Interactive Science Museum of Foggia, inaugurated on October 1, 1998. The Museum also plays a role in urban redevelopment and recovery, being located in a suburban area of the city within industrial warehouses previously assigned to the Technical Institute “Leonardo da Vinci.” The Museum has no architectural barriers that impede access for disabled visitors; moreover, all necessary services for them are available. The Museum features a large room suitable for organizing conferences and congresses, equipped with a projector, slide projector, video recorder, stereo system, overhead projector, computer-video connection, satellite connection, and Internet access. Special attention is given to the setting, furnishings, and construction of exhibits to enhance both the aesthetic values of science and the cognitive aspects of art.
