Il Museo Interattivo delle Scienze di Foggia, inaugurated on October 1, 1998. The Museum also plays a role in urban redevelopment and recovery, being located in a suburban neighborhood of the city in industrial buildings previously entrusted to the “Leonardo da Vinci” Technical Institute. The Museum has no architectural barriers that hinder access for disabled visitors; moreover, all necessary services for them are available. The Museum has a large room suitable for organizing conferences and congresses, equipped with a projector, slide projector, video recorder, stereo system, overhead projector, computer-video connection, satellite connection, Internet connection. Particular care is given to the setting, furnishings, and construction of the exhibits, to enhance both the aesthetic values of science and the cognitive values of art.
