The Museum collects testimonies of the Italian army in the Russian Campaign, which took place during the Second World War from 1941 to 1943.
The Museum is rich in photographs, documents, and memorabilia that demonstrate the commitment of the Italian troops on that war front, which saw the sacrifice of about 100,000 of our soldiers who never returned.
One of the Museum’s rooms is dedicated to the arrival of other divisions that lined up on the Don River; this room also contains uniforms, memorabilia, documents, and texts from the period concerned.
At the Museum’s office, visitors can get information about the fate of approximately 90,000 soldiers who did not return from the Russian front.
