The Museum has been open since 1980 and is organized into nine rooms where the life and works of Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno – an eminent military, religious, mathematical, and scientific figure of our Risorgimento – are narrated. It houses a rich collection of scientific materials and instruments from his era, some of which were invented by the Blessed himself. Among these, the portable telescope signed by Foucault (the only example in Italy) as well as the complete set for developing daguerreotype silver plates (a precursor to the camera) stand out.
