The Museum has been open since 1980 and is divided into nine rooms in which the life and works of Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno – an outstanding military, religious, mathematical, and scientific figure of our Risorgimento – are narrated, and where there is a rich collection of scientific materials and instruments from his era, some of which were invented by the Blessed himself. Among these is the portable telescope signed by Foucault (the only example in Italy) as well as the complete set for developing silver plates of the daguerreotype (forerunner of the camera).
