Il Museo is open since 1980 and is divided into nine rooms where the life and works of Blessed Francesco Faà di Bruno – a prominent military, religious, mathematical, and scientific figure of our Risorgimento – are narrated, and where there is a rich collection of scientific materials and instruments from his time, some of which were invented by the Blessed himself. Among these is the portable telescope signed by Foucault (the only example in Italy) as well as the complete set for the development of silver plates of the daguerreotype (forerunner of the camera).
