Documentation Center on the Gothic Line, a museum facility that collects images, documents, and objects related to the main events of the Second World War in the Apuan-Versilian area. It consists of five rooms equipped with wall illustrations of the various historical stages of the period, an interactive model (dimensions 1.80 m x 1.70 m) which highlights, among other things, the path of the Gothic Line, the locations of Allied and Nazi-Fascist positions, the towns where massacres occurred, and key episodes of partisan struggle, a multimedia room where, through 8 screens, some protagonists of the War, now in their nineties, recall the events of those months, and an exhibition room where three display cases collect various war materials (ammunition, helmets, soldier equipment, etc.) kindly donated by Pietro Maghelli and Vincenzo Gemelli (known as “Beretta”)
