Centro di Documentazione sulla Linea Gotica, a museum facility that collects images, documents, and objects related to the main events of the Second World War in the Apuan-Versilian territory. It consists of five rooms equipped with wall illustrations of the various historical passages of the period, an interactive model (dimensions m. 1.80 x m. 1.70 highlighting among other things the route of the Gothic Line, the locations of Allied and Nazi-fascist positions, the towns where massacres occurred, and notable episodes of partisan struggle), a multimedia room in which, through 8 screens, some protagonists of the War, now in their nineties, recall the events of those months, and an exhibition room in which three display cases collect various war materials (ammunition, helmets, soldiers’ equipment, etc.) kindly donated by Pietro Maghelli and Vincenzo Gemelli (known as “Beretta”)
