“The diocesan museum of Lucera is located inside the Episcopal Palace in Piazza Duomo 13. In the NOBLE wing of the 18th-century Episcopal Palace is the Sacred Art Museum of the Diocese of Lucera-Troia. It also houses the historic Episcopal Picture Gallery, whose first portraits are attributed to Mons. Alfonso Maria Freda (1798-1816). The collection includes precious and significant relics and memorabilia gathered in various rooms of the museum, including much of the Treasury of the Cathedral Chapter of Lucera.”
