“Il diocesan museum of Lucera is located inside the Episcopal Palace in Piazza Duomo 13. In the NOBLE wing of the eighteenth-century Episcopal Palace is the Museum of Sacred Art of the Diocese of Lucera-Troia. It also houses the historic Episcopal Picture Gallery, whose first portraits are attributed to Mons. Alfonso Maria Freda (1798-1816). The precious and significant relics and memorabilia collected in the various rooms of the museum collection include much of the Treasure of the Cathedral Chapter of Lucera.”
