Located within the De Pace Lombardi Civic Library of Oria, housed in the spacious and bright basement rooms of the City Hall on via Epitaffio, is the Civic Archaeological Museum dedicated to the famous architect Francesco Milizia. The Museum preserves artifacts from the 4th–2nd centuries BC, particularly furnishings and burial goods found in the area. The exhibits are displayed and accessible to the public visiting the municipal library. In the “exhibition hall” space, which also serves as a conference room, the Library offers its own cultural productions with displays of valuable books, historical documents from the Municipal Archive, photographic and art exhibitions.
