The Art Collection of the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation of Terni and Narni. A community heritage that emerges from the “vaults” of Palazzo Montani Leoni to be shared with everyone. Some of the displayed works are the result of targeted acquisitions by the Foundation on the antique market aimed at preserving and protecting predominantly local artistic heritage; others come from acquisitions made by the namesake bank from 1846 to 1992 before its separation from the Foundation. The exhibition is spread over two floors of the sixteenth-century palace, respecting the usual placement of most of the works. The exhibition setup favors a “domestic” dimension, placing the works in some of the Foundation’s representative rooms, such as the Board of Directors and Steering Committee rooms with their decorated ceilings and ancient furnishings
