Il Museo della Civiltà del Vino Primitivo, is located within the Cantina Produttori Vini di Manduria. Born from the idea of the wine cooperative with the intention of enhancing knowledge related to the territory in the cultivation of grapes, the Museum is situated in the nineteenth-century cellar with star vaults, structured in the museum exhibition in two types of paths. The first relates to the knowledge of everyday life objects and agricultural work that constituted the economy of the territory. The second path instead provides an exhibition of ancient machinery of the wine factory. An integral part of the exhibition is also the visualization of documents, writings related to the agricultural world. The Museum today hosts conferences and countless cultural events.
