Il Museo della Civiltà del Vino Primitivo is located inside the Cantina Produttori Vini di Manduria. Born from the idea of the Wine Producers Cooperative with the intention of enhancing the knowledge related to the territory in the field of grape cultivation, the Museum is situated in the 19th-century cellar with star-shaped vaults, structuring the museum exhibition into two types of paths. The first concerns the knowledge of everyday life objects and agricultural work that constituted the economy of the territory. The second path, on the other hand, provides an exhibition of old machinery from the wine factory. An integral part of the exhibition is also the visualization of documents, writings related to the agricultural world. Today the Museum hosts conferences and countless cultural events.
