Dove dormire in Sardegna

Tra queste Villasimius o Chia, just to name two of the most popular locations or on islets like Sant’Antioco and San Pietro. However, this does not take away from the fact that even in Cagliari there are accommodation facilities of various types and targets: star hotels, boarding houses, guesthouses, B&Bs…, able to meet the needs of both those who stay for work and for tourism.

The rest of the island is a paradise for vacationers of all ages, starting with those who prefer the classic tourist village of tour operators, under the sign of the all-inclusive package, with services and entertainment of all kinds. For those who love a secluded and exclusive vacation, there are dream hotels of the timeless Costa Smeralda, Costa Rei, or Gallura. While those who do not have great expectations find a dense undergrowth of 3-4 star facilities; apartments and residences for rent; more modest but welcoming guesthouses and B&Bs.

In some areas of the island, e.g. in Sulcis-Iglesiente, the experience of the albergo diffuso is interesting and flourishing, thanks to which small abandoned villages come back to life as residences for tourists, or the houses of farmers and miners (we are indeed in a region of historic mines) open up to simple but authentic hospitality, also made of unique flavors and the rediscovery of ancient traditions.
