The exhibition space Fondazione Roma Museo, formerly Museo del Corso, was established in 1999 by the will and drive of Prof. Avv. Emmanuele F.M. Emanuele, President of the Fondazione Roma.

Since 1999 to today the Museo del Corso has held over fifty temporary exhibitions, in collaboration with the most prestigious international museum centers, including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the State Museum of St. Petersburg, the Pushkin Museum and the Kremlin Museum of Moscow, the Louvre Museum, the Palace Museum of Beijing, the Gemäldegalerie of Berlin, The Honolulu Academy of Arts, the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

The activity of the Foundation is characterized not only by the significance of the temporary exhibitions, but also by the search for innovative solutions that tend to bring as many people as possible closer to art, through cultural deepening paths such as seminars, conferences, shows, and themed events.

Starting from November 2010 the Museum has expanded its programming by offering simultaneous exhibitions, thanks to the opening of the new exhibition space of Palazzo Sciarra – Via Minghetti 22 – which adds to the already existing space of Palazzo Cipolla – Via del Corso 320.
