The paleontological museum is dedicated to the memory of collector Attilio Fedrigo (1902-1992), and exhibits hundreds of fossil specimens of significant interest that Fedrigo began collecting for scientific and educational purposes since the 1950s. In 1988, Attilio Fedrigo donated his collection to the Municipality of Sona to establish a Municipal Paleontological Museum.
The collection ranges from the Primary to the Quaternary Era (from 500 million to a few thousand years ago); among its pieces are trilobites, graptolites, orthoceratids, ammonites, gastropods, remains of elephants and other prehistoric mammals. It clearly and thoroughly exemplifies the evolution and findings of paleontology. Free admission. The museum is temporarily closed to the public due to relocation.
