The “Salvatore Faldetta” Archaeological Museum originated from an archaeological collection established through the passion of the President of the homonymous Foundation over several years and donated to the Municipality of Brindisi, with the aim of making this rich heritage available to the entire community. The visit path unfolds across the ground floor, first, and second floors of the building adjacent to the Virgilio Staircase, facing the magnificent port of the city of Brindisi. The Foundation, established in Brindisi on October 16, 2002, by the Founder Mr. Salvatore Faldetta, offers museum visitors a collection of 350 archaeological artifacts and a university with specific courses in archaeology and ancient art history.
