Provincial Wine Museum, inaugurated in 1955 at Castel Ringberg, is the oldest Italian museum dedicated to viticulture.
Today the museum is located in the center of the wine village of Caldaro, just 15 km from Bolzano, in what used to be the Di Pauli winery. A remarkable ribbed vault dating back to 1693 in the room that housed the wine press, pointed arch stone doors, and an underground cellar give the building a unique atmosphere.
