The Provincial Museum of Customs and Traditions of South Tyrol in Teodone is located in the heart of the Puster Valley. The ethnographic museum illustrates the life of rural society of the past – from nobility to farm laborers. At the center stands the imposing Baroque residence Mair am Hof with the noble rooms and ethnographic collections. In the rustic building of Mair am Hof, numerous agricultural tools and vehicles are exhibited. In the outdoor area, original farmers’ farms, craft buildings, vegetable gardens, and domestic animals are brought together in a path that retraces the main stages of daily life in a world now gone.
