Permanent exhibition set up at the headquarters of the Sulfur Workers’ League founded in 1903, aimed at preserving the tradition related to sulfur extraction in central-eastern Sicily. Numerous sulfur crystals, miniatures of kilns, Gill furnaces for sulfur smelting, winches with their shafts, rail wagons for transporting extracted sulfur, tools from various work phases, and a niche with Saint Barbara, protector of miners, are displayed. A monochrome photographic review represents the extraction phases and the transformation of sulfur.
