The Pejo Museum, inaugurated in 2003, gathers material mostly from the mountains surrounding the village, found by individual researchers or through the territorial research promoted by the Museum itself. The collected materials allow visitors to get an idea of the daily life of soldiers on the mountains of the Trentino front; in the showcases, uniforms and elements of personal equipment are displayed; a field kitchen highlights the problem of supplies and sustenance; a trolley recovered from Punta Linke shows how in these areas the cableway was the main means of transport; to illustrate the medical-sanitary situation, a hut used for first aid has been reconstructed; a tabernacle used in the trenches and a portable altar refer to the spiritual life of the soldiers. For some years, the Museum, in collaboration with the Superintendence for Library and Archaeological Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, has been organizing high-altitude recovery operations aimed at protecting historical sites emerging from the glaciers due to melting. Since 2009, the Museum has been committed to the important project of recovering the Punta Linke site to ensure its preservation and make it visitable. The project is expected to conclude in 2013.
