Original museum entirely dedicated to the theme of the nativity scene and the birth of Christ, it owes its foundation to Don Sesto Serri, initiator of a collection that currently counts over one hundred specimens from various eras and different origins. Of notable interest are the Neapolitan sculptures, about seventy pieces, dating between the 17th and 18th centuries, and the late 19th-century nativity scene by Raffaele Minutolo set, at night, in Modena’s Piazza Grande. The collection is completed by a 14th-century wooden group depicting the Madonna and Child, various engravings, and some icons of Russian and Greek origin.
