Formed several times during the 1980s, it is set up in the rooms annexed to the church now called della Pace (formerly the Church of San Pietro), near the town of Montescudo. In 1944, during the Second World War, the area was the scene of a violent clash between the English and the Germans during which the church was almost completely destroyed. After its partial restoration, it became a place of memory and the museum was established there. The exhibition route unfolds through some thematic sections narrating the war events that affected the village of Montescudo and the hilly territory of Rimini along the Gothic Line through photographs, documents, and a small collection of objects gathered and arranged by the current parish priest of the church, a passionate researcher of local memories.
