This museum collects small and large objects of the Apulian peasant civilization. There are ancient paper materials and documents, old photographic material, and artifacts. The museum has various sections, which recreate the varied ancient setting of Apulia: shops and artisan workshops, kitchens, bedrooms of old homes, peasant workshops. Some monographic studies have been carried out on people from Apulia, and there are collections of old photos and a collection of important documents on emigration to Brazil and Venezuela.
