The “Titanic Belfast Experience” is a permanent museum illustrating the story of the most famous ocean liner in history.
Opened on March 31, 2012, the Titanic museum was constructed over about three years, culminating in its unveiling to the world with a gleaming appearance created from aluminum panels and a remarkable size, realistically inspired by the Titanic itself.

Located on the dock where the Titanic was built and fitted out, this museum consists of six floors made up of nine galleries inside which you can relive its history: from the first steps taken by engineers on paper for its design, to the actual construction and assembly process, ending with the launch ceremony and the first — and only fatal — departure for America.

What happened on the tragic night of April 14, 1912 is well known, and can also be experienced through the many multimedia installations inside the Titanic Museum in Belfast.

The museum has also recreated several interior environments: from the dining hall to the lavish staircases, everything speaks of a grandeur and luxury still remarkable today, chosen as a symbol of the most majestic ship ever built up to that time.

There is also space dedicated to the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the wreck many years later and its exploration in 1985, as well as testimonies from survivors of the maritime disaster which, until the Costa Concordia incident, was considered the most severe and emblematic in navigation history.

Beyond the emotional impact, the Titanic Belfast museum aims to become the new attraction capable of boosting tourism flows in the Northern Irish city: long associated with the tumultuous uprisings that marked it, Belfast today is a very different reality, full of great tourist potential and a growing range of cultural offerings, among which the Titanic Belfast Experience undoubtedly deserves a prominent place.

The investment has also been significant: around 100 million pounds waiting to be amortized through visits and ticket sales. A challenge already underway, with bookings and sales happening in large numbers: 10,000 tickets sold are already reported.
