In an old industrial area of about 19,000 m², the Autonomous Province of Trento not only asked Renzo Piano for a museum but a center for reflection on the relationship between nature and man. And so MUSE was born. So successful that, as the only Italian museum, it received an honorable mention at the European Museum of the Year Awards 2015.
From the mountains to the challenges of sustainability, from the first humans to the secrets of DNA. With “special effects” to experience the same emotions as climbing the Dolomite walls or free skiing down.
At the same time, it is possible to touch fossils and minerals, use the microscope, enter the large greenhouse with live plants from the forests of Tanzania.
Also, the fossilized footprints of dinosaurs from the Alpine region, the first painted stones, and the weapons of prehistoric hunters from the Ice Age.
In a science gym, the principles of physics and mechanics are learned through interactive installations.
