“The Santa Barbara Museum was founded by Nik Spatari and Hiske Maas in 1986; it is located in the ancient partially restored monastic complex of Santa Barbara, now a Museum-Laboratory, and includes a large open space with gardens, olive groves, and orchards. The foundation holds a considerable heritage consisting of: a 260 sqm three-dimensional mural work “Jacob’s Dream” by Nik Spatari (apse and vault of the Church); monumental art works Structure Environment created by international artists; a collection of modern and contemporary visual arts works and a collection of Nik Spatari’s works documented to show his artistic evolution from 1943 to 2010. ”
