“Santa Barbara Museum was founded by Nik Spatari and Hiske Maas in 1986; it is located in the ancient monastery complex of Santa Barbara, partially restored and now a Museum-Laboratory, and includes a large open space with gardens, olive groves, and orchards. The foundation owns a considerable heritage consisting of: a three-dimensional mural work “Jacob’s Dream” by Nik Spatari covering 260 sq.m. (apse and vault of the Church); monumental art works Structure Environment created by international artists; a collection of modern and contemporary visual arts works and a collection of works by Nik Spatari documenting his artistic evolution from 1943-2010.”
