The Imperial Marquessate Museum Palace of Monte Santa Maria is located in the Bourbon del Monte Palace at Piazza Castello 1, in the village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina.
The museum path illustrates the history of the Bourbon del Monte family and their Marquessate, which was an imperial fief from 1250 to 1815, and its relationship with the city and the territory of the Upper Tiber Valley. Recently, it has been enriched by an archaeological section that documents findings from the area.
