Praia a Mare is nestled between the coast of Maratea and San Nicola Arcella. The town is very lively in summer and features kilometers of beach, with the Fiuzzi area being its highlight. Opposite the Fiuzzi beach lies the Island of Dino, once a popular spot for divers.

Scalea, named after its very layout: the old village is set on terraces atop a hill facing the sea and showcases medieval architecture, Norman manor houses from the 12th century, a 15th-century Cylindrical Tower; ruins of the Grancia and the 13th-century Franciscan convent. Through alleys and steps, one reaches the summit of the village, where the little church of the Spedale stands, of Byzantine origin, adorned with frescoes. To the north of the town, you descend to the most spectacular stretch of coast, home to the Arcomagno Cave.

Modern Scalea rises along the coastline and is a well-established seaside resort. Another gem of the Riviera is Diamante, one of the most picturesque towns, with a magnificent seaside promenade, known for the Chili Pepper Academy that highlights all the qualities of this vegetable with tips and special chili-based recipes; for its citron granitas and murals.
