The route is accompanied by panels and display cases that preserve photographs, posters, leaflets, newspapers, documents of various kinds, memorabilia, topographic maps, models, and war devices. Also notable is a philatelic-numismatic collection and letters from military internees and deportees. CIDRA also owns a very rich historical archive, which preserves over 45,000 documents in addition to an important photographic and audiovisual collection, and a library, which offers seven thousand volumes and pamphlets as well as a substantial newspaper library.
