Il Castello del Valentino is located in the park of the same name on the banks of the Po River. The first origins of the building date back to the 16th century, but its current appearance is largely due to the interventions ordered by Duchess Cristina of France starting in 1620. Il Castello del Valentino has undergone various uses over the centuries before becoming the seat of the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Turin.
