Il Castello del Valentino is located in the park of the same name on the banks of the Po River. The origins of the building date back to the 16th century, but its current appearance is largely due to the works commissioned in 1620 by Duchess Cristina of France. Over the centuries, the Castello del Valentino has undergone various uses before becoming the seat of the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Turin.
