“Scultori a Brufa”, open-air sculpture park, was created in 1987 by inviting one sculptor per year to exhibit their works along the streets overlooking the vineyards and small squares of the village and acquiring a piece made specifically for the town.
Brufa, on whose hills are located the vineyards of the prestigious Torgiano wine production; overlooks the Tiber plain and the Assisi plain up to Foligno. It is part of the Torgiano – Brufa – Miralduolo – Torgiano ridge, where “The Wine and Art Road” develops. In this landscape large sculptures by contemporary artists (Pierucci, Sforna, Pizzoni, Miniucchi, Giuman, De Felice, Liberatore, Caruso, Sguanci, Mastroianni, Carroli, Lorenzetti, Roca-Rey, Carrino, Giuliani, Marotta, Mattiacci, Staccioli, Trubbiani, Cascella, Magnoni, Brook, Corsucci) have been placed, desired by the Brufa Pro Loco, the Municipality of Torgiano and the Province of Perugia to create points of attraction for the eye.
