Arethusean Puppet Museum, Syracuse

The artistic heritage of the Vaccaro brothers, famous puppeteers from Syracuse, is showcased in this museum.

The “Vaccaro-Mauceri” association opens the curtain on the work of the Vaccaro brothers and their fantastic world, where Christian and Saracen knights, wizards, witches, and monstrous creatures have their place.

A journey enriched with historical sheets that retrace the highlights of their story, from the birth of the workshop in Vicolo dell’Ulivo, to the debut of the Mauceri brothers. An open book on some suggestive pages of Syracuse history, now available to everyone.
