Museo aretuseo dei Pupi, Siracusa

The artistic heritage of the Vaccaro brothers, famous puppeteers from Syracuse, is showcased in this museum.

The “Vaccaro-Mauceri” association opens the curtain on the work of the Vaccaro brothers and their fantastic world, featuring Christian and Saracen knights, wizards, witches, and monstrous creatures.

A journey enriched by historical sheets that retrace the highlights of their story, from the birth of the workshop in Vicolo dell’Ulivo, to the debut of the Mauceri brothers. An open book on some evocative pages of Syracusan history, now available to everyone.
