Tra le molte things to do in Naples, here is one with timeless charm: watch the show of the Esedra Fountain.
Within the Island of Passions, it is the Mostra D’Oltre Mare that allows this dazzling and enchanting opportunity to observe the wonderful water games of this monumental fountain, a true architectural gem.
The Esedra Fountain is located inside the Mostra D’Oltremare park and consists of 76 trapezoidal basins arranged in four concentric semicircles, enclosing the central basin.
The whole complex extends over 37 thousand square meters of waterfalls, water movements, lights, jets, and more than 1300 nozzles. This large architectural and hydraulic engineering complex brings to life the sinuous dances of water jets, illuminated by beams of light from more than 800 lamps for each basin, in white, yellow, red, and green colors.

The fountain was built in 1938 and has enchanted visitors since then; it is a Naples attraction still relatively unknown but deserving to be appreciated more, like the famous Magic Fountain of Montjuïc in Barcelona.
