Remembrance Hall, Udine

The museum is located in three rooms on the ground floor of the cloister of the former Convent of S. Agostino, now an Alpini barracks. The exhibition route documents the Risorgimento period, the First and Second World Wars, the establishment of the Julia Alpine Brigade, the role played today by the Alpini in humanitarian and peace operations, and in disaster relief interventions. The collection includes relics, documentation on the history of the Brigade and its notable members, photographs, and an extensive newspaper library.
