The museum is located in three rooms on the ground floor of the cloister of the former Sant’Agostino Convent, now an Alpine troops barracks. The exhibition path documents the Risorgimento period, the First and Second World Wars, the establishment of the Julia Alpine Brigade, the role played today by the Alpini in humanitarian and peace operations and in disaster relief efforts. The collection includes relics, documentation on the history of the Brigade and its notable members, photographs, and a large archive of periodicals.
