Il Museo Ornitologico F.O.I. Onlus conserves, studies, and exhibits birds that live in the wild and those bred by humans.
Today the Museum displays more than a thousand pieces of rare beauty, but what makes it unique in the Italian museum scene, and probably European, is the exhibition of birds from our breeding farms. Thanks to preservation techniques, the evolutionary sequence of the different breeds, their mutations, and the infinite colors and varieties can be traced and studied over time here.
The Museum is not only a physical place to visit but a multiplier of activities, a driving force that will allow the F.O.I. to become a propulsion center for new activities in the wildlife and nature protection field.
