The F.O.I. Onlus Ornithological Museum preserves, studies, and exhibits birds living in the wild and those raised by humans.
Today, the Museum displays more than a thousand pieces of rare beauty, but what makes it unique in the Italian museum landscape, and probably European as well, is the exhibition of birds from our breeding programs. Thanks to preservation techniques, the evolutionary sequence of different breeds, their mutations, and the infinite colors and varieties can be traced and studied over time here.
The Museum is not just a physical place to visit but a multiplier of activities, a driving force that will enable F.O.I. to become a propulsive center for new activities in wildlife and nature conservation.
