Il Museo Ornitologico F.O.I. Onlus conserves, studies, and exhibits birds that live in the wild and those bred by humans.
Today the Museum exhibits more than a thousand pieces of rare beauty, but what makes it unique in the Italian museum landscape, and probably European, is the exhibition of birds from our breeding. Thanks to conservation techniques, the evolutionary sequence of different breeds, their mutations, and the infinite colors and varieties can be traced and studied over time here.
The Museum is not only a physical place to visit but a multiplier of activities, a driving force that will allow the F.O.I. to become a propulsion center for new activities in wildlife and nature conservation.
