In the Hauptplatz, the main square, the street lamps give a warm atmosphere to the row of pastel-colored facade townhouses.
Among these stands out the Schloss Liebburg, with its two turrets and onion domes: it dates back to the 17th century and houses the Town Hall. Lienz is located at the confluence of the Isel and Drava rivers and offers surroundings rich in attractions: from the beautiful Dolomites of Lienz, with a thousand hiking trails and ski slopes, to the picturesque Schloss Bruck, on the outskirts, a beautiful 13th-century manor that was once the residence of the counts of Gortz.
