The Diocesan Museum of the Archdiocese of Agrigento, established in 1872 by Bishop Turano, today features a new layout inside the eighteenth-century Archbishop’s Palace.
The displayed collection allows you to follow the history of the Agrigento Diocese in eight exhibition rooms, from the Christian re-evangelization after the Muslim rule, which took place in 1087 with the Norman conquest.
